The hotel has been designed by Luis Delgado, this spanish fashion designer proposes a variety of rooms all with talent, one totally white, a new yorker one, a glamorous one, another based on high-tech concepts, a Phillipe Stark room with mirrors, one based on scandinavian design and obviously our star, the Junior Suite with jacuzzi on the room.

Madrid may be a sophisticated cultural powerhouse yet, strangely enough, hotels have a propensity to be either expensively luxurious or cheap and not so cheerful. The in between part, finding hotels that both tastefully done, well located and affordable is not so easy in one of Europe’s more expensive cities. This is where the Hostal Abalu comes in, for without recourse to a hefty price tag, it offers guests a boutique style good taste an excellent location to boot.
The location is indeed excellent (19 Pez street), being near the Gran Via district (downtown Madrid) and close by to the main monuments, museums, restaurants and shops.
From the airport take by metro take line 8 to "Nuevos Ministerios" then change to line 10 to "Plaza de España" and exit by "Conde de Toreno".
Turn left Reyes street till San Bernardo street cross it and take Pez street to number 19... Aproximately from the metro station 1 minute walking.
